How Did I Go From an Absolute Orchid Growing Newbie To Master Orchid Grower Without Knowing a Damn Thing About Orchids To Begin With?
You see, I'm a very stubborn person usually and I want to do everything myself. But as everyone knows (and I had to learn) this is a horrible way to advance as a person. My orchid was a big old mess because I tried to do everything myself. It wasnt until I followed someone else's blue print that things started to turn around for me and I was able to turn a withered plant into a real masterpiece.
I visited local growing grounds and nurseries. I called some names I found in the phone book and asked for their advice. Everything that everyone told me I wrote down and then began to apply. Nothing was overlooked, if something didn't work I forgot about it and tried something else. After using all of these trial and error methods I was left with perfect, step by step instructions on orchid care. My orchid was looking better than ever!
In fact, my orchid turned out so beautiful that I got the bug, I bought 3 more orchids in the month following and used my new found knowledge to make them even more beautiful than they were when I bought them within a few short weeks.

I consider myself a bit of an orchid expert, in fact you can see some pictures of my orchids below. Almost all of my orchids grow well and are healthy but every now and then there is a rogue orchid that doesn't cooperate.
To try and show him up I took one of the 'ugly' orchids and tried Jeremys techniques. I didn't expect much at all but within a week it was already looking healthier and after a few weeks it was back to perfect health.
The best part of all was that during the next blooming season I had actual flowers on the orchid, I couldn't believe it. Just a few months ago this orchid was ready for the trash pile.

The only problem with the whole experiment was that Jeremy was 100% right. (I'm lucky I didn't bet any money or else I would have never heard the end of it)
